I've read so many Kindle samples recently,and haven't wanted to purchase any of them. Then came Dovetail. I'd read a book by Karen McQuestion long ago and remembered I enjoyed it. I hoped this would be one like that. I was NOT disappointed. As a matter of fact, I'm really pleased. I've wanted to read a book that's clean, has a wonderful story where I felt like I was there in it. I wanted well developed characters I could cheer for, or clap when justice was done. This book had it all and more, different time periods, connections between generations, secrets expertly revealed, healing and restoration. All without profanity and gratuitous violence and sex. I especially liked how ignorance and bigotry was adeptly condemned. The book stands on its writing and the story. Bravo, Ms. Question! The drought of not having something good to read at a reasonable price is over. On to the next Karen McQuestion story. Thank you to this author! A refreshing old fashioned love story. I enjoyed this so much, it made me smile and warmed my heart. Thanks for a PG rated love story, I prefer those.
